J. Douglas Thornton serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy, where he directs the Prescription Drug Misuse Education and Research (PREMIER) Center. His work bridges clinical pharmacy practice with policy-focused outcomes research to combat prescription opioid crises.
