Izzy Hoggmascall is a Researcher at the Pentland Centre under the Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). They serve as the Principles of Responsible Management Education Co-ordinator, coordinating the Sustainability in Business Research Network and leading the Faculty Sustainability Working Group to foster collaboration on sustainability projects. Izzy also supports Knowledge Exchange projects with tasks such as creating communication materials and monitoring systems.

Izzy’s research interests lie in leveraging design thinking and systems thinking to innovate environmental solutions. They are actively involved in the i-Connect project, focusing on integrating design methods into policy-making for achieving Net Zero and improving transport systems in the Lancaster City region. Past academic work includes studying indoor plants’ impact on Nitrogen Dioxide and redesigning lifestock auction waste management systems for a circular economy.
In addition to university roles, Izzy works as a freelance designer and runs Peekaboo Art, handling projects like posters, flyers, and festival decorations. They are open to new collaborations and challenges in design, sustainability, and research.
