Izelle Labuschagne

Dr. Izelle Labuschagne is an Honorary Senior Fellow at the School of Psychology, University of Queensland. Her research focuses on cognitive neuroscience and clinical psychology, particularly in areas such as emotion processing, social anxiety disorder, and the neural mechanisms underlying memory and brain connectivity.

Recent publications highlight her contributions to understanding amygdala subregion specialization, resting-state connectivity in social anxiety, and cannabis dependence effects on hippocampal volumes. These studies span neuroscience, psychiatry, and neuroimaging disciplines, emphasizing dimensional approaches to psychopathology.
