Izabela Sitarska

Izabela Sitarska is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Intermedia, University of Arts in Poznań. She specializes in performance art, intermedia, and artistic education, utilizing the language of theatre and performance to create site-specific spatial situations and direct performances.

Her research interests focus on interdisciplinary approaches to artistic practice, including theatrical-performative events, multimedia installations, and cultural animation. She has coordinated and co-created notable projects such as Peacock Loop, Oranges on Fire take IV (at the Pavilion), Glocca Morra, and the This/That Summer exhibition series in collaboration with the University of Arts and the Open School of Art.
