معرفی
Ivna Kavre Piltaver is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Rijeka, Croatia. She leads the Laboratory for Scanning Electron Microscopy and is affiliated with the Center for Micro- and Nanosciences and Technologies. Her research focuses on experimental solid-state physics, surface physics, and advanced material characterization techniques such as SEM, SIMS, XPS, and ALD.
Education: PhD in Physics (2010-2014) from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia; M.Ed. in Physics and Mathematics (2008-2010) and B.Sc. in Physics (2005-2008) from University of Rijeka.
Research interests include photocatalytic materials, thin film engineering, environmental particulate analysis, and surface functionalization via ion implantation and vapor-phase reactions. Her work bridges materials science with environmental applications, particularly in air quality monitoring and nanotechnology.
Labs/Teams: Head of the Scanning Electron Microscopy Lab at University of Rijeka. Collaborates with international institutions including the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (Taiwan) and Elettra Synchrotron (Italy).
