Prof. Dr. Ivica Djeparoski is a Full Professor at the Institute of Philosophy within the Faculty of Philosophy at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He has held this position since 2007, advancing through academic ranks from Teaching Assistant (1993), Assistant Professor (1998), and Associate Professor (2003). Djeparoski currently serves as Head of the Institute of Philosophy, a role he previously held during 2004–2009 and 2013–2020. He also founded the university's Intercultural Studies program and teaches courses including Aesthetics, Philosophy of Culture, and History of Aesthetics across multiple faculties.
His research focuses on aesthetic theory, cultural philosophy, and interdisciplinary studies of literature and visual arts, with specialized interests in ecological aesthetics and Balkan cultural discourse. His scholarly output includes 14 philosophy books, 3 anthologies, and over 350 publications.

He has mentored over 50 undergraduate theses, 10 master's candidates, and 8 doctoral students. As a translator, he introduced Macedonian editions of works by William Blake, James Joyce, and Joseph Brodsky. His poetry has been translated into 20 languages and published internationally.
Djeparoski participates in major academic projects including MANU's 'History of Macedonian Culture' and 'Macedonian Terminology' initiatives. He holds memberships in the Writers' Association of Macedonia, Philosophical Society of Macedonia, and Macedonian PEN Center, where he served as Secretary (1999–2001; 2008–2014).
