Dr Iveta Eimontaite is a Lecturer in Human Factors and Cognitive Psychology at Cranfield University, affiliated with the Centre for Robotics and Assembly. Her work focuses on behavioral and cognitive aspects of Human-Technology Interaction (HTI), particularly in industrial contexts involving collaborative robots, exoskeletons, and augmented reality systems.
- Education: MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience (University of York, UK), PhD in Cognitive Psychology (Hull University, UK)
- Prior Positions: Research roles at Bristol Robotics Laboratory and Sheffield Robotics
Her research explores psychological safety factors, operator acceptance of robotics, and emotion-driven decision-making in manufacturing environments. She employs mixed methods including physiological measures and behavioral experiments.
Recent publications address Human-Robot Collaboration (2024), Industry 5.0 co-creation (2024), and AI-based positioning systems (2024), alongside earlier work on augmented reality interfaces (2022) and emotion effects in risk perception (2017). Current involvement in the H2020 SHERLOCK project emphasizes safe human-robot integration in manufacturing.
