Ivaylo Petkov

Ivaylo Petkov serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), Faculty of Architecture, Department of Public Buildings. He teaches Public Buildings - Project 2 for 4th-year students and maintains weekly reception hours (Wednesdays 14:00-16:00 in room 1022).

His academic credentials include a Master's degree with proficiency in English and Russian. Professional competencies span investment process management, architectural creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork.

Research centers on architectural innovation and value-added design solutions, with current PhD studies in Urban Simulations. His portfolio features 24 significant projects including the Basilica of St. Helena restoration (2013), Museum of Underwater Archaeology competition entry (2012), and National Library of Helsinki competition (2012), demonstrating expertise in cultural monument conservation, public infrastructure, and international architectural competitions.
