معرفی
Dr. Ivan Sili is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), affiliated with the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and the Centre for Audio, Acoustics and Vibration (CAAV). His research focuses on biophysical mechanisms, particularly electroreception in plant-pollinator communication using native Australian stingless bees. He explores bioelectrical signaling in ecological systems and applies IoT technologies to agricultural and biomedical challenges.
Dr. Sili holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from Tavria State Agrotechnological University (Ukraine) and a PhD in Engineering Science from Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture. His work spans interdisciplinary fields including IoT-enabled microbial cultivation systems, materials engineering for steel alloys, and assistive technologies for disability support.
His recent publications emphasize IoT integration in biotechnology, materials science, and biomedical engineering. Notable projects include a UV-C disinfecting mobile robot, an automated microbial monitoring system, and a tensile sensor glove for speech-impaired individuals.
Dr. Sili teaches the course 'Embedded Mechatronics Systems' at UTS and collaborates with international teams. He is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, with expertise in peer review and technical writing.
His research labs include the CAVV at UTS, focusing on audio and vibration engineering applications. Ongoing projects aim to advance sustainable technologies and ecological bioelectrical signaling studies.
