Ivan Dimitrov

Ivan Dimitrov is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Queen's University, part of the Faculty of Arts and Science. His research focuses on representation theory, Lie algebras, and Lie superalgebras, combining tools from algebra, geometry, and combinatorics. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside (1998) and an M.Sc. from Sofia University (1990).

Advising & Supervision:

Currently supervising Kaveh Mousavand as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He mentors graduate students at the M.Sc. and Ph.D. levels, offering thesis projects in his research areas.
