Paolo Mantero is an Associate Professor and Robert and Sandra Connor Fellow in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, University of Arkansas. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Purdue University in 2012. His research specializes in Commutative Algebra with connections to Algebraic Geometry, Combinatorics, and Homological Algebra.
Research interests include liaison theory, projective dimension, infinite free resolutions, symbolic powers of ideals, combinatorial commutative algebra, and Hilbert functions. He has supervised doctoral student Jesse Keyton and undergraduate honors theses.
Dr. Mantero has received two teaching awards from UC Riverside and currently organizes the Algebra seminar at the University of Arkansas.
