Israt Jahan is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her research focuses on Development Economics, Political Economy, and Corruption, with notable contributions on constitutional design and informal economic activity. She holds a Ph.D. from Texas Tech University and has taught courses such as International Economics and Data Analysis for Business Applications. Her work includes studies on the relationship between constitutional length and corruption, and the role of informal sectors in economic development.
