معرفی
Isabelle Wentworth is a Lecturer in English within the School of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Education and Arts. Her academic work centers on postcolonial and Indigenous literatures, with a focus on emotional expression in poetic forms from the Global South.
Her research explores the thematic role of fear and other negative emotions in contemporary Indigenous poetry, particularly through comparative studies of authors such as Graciela Huinao and Ellen van Neerven. This work situates literary analysis within broader decolonial and cultural discourse.
The recent publication in The Productivity of Negative Emotions in Postcolonial Literature (Routledge, 2024) reflects ongoing scholarly contributions to the understanding of affect and identity in marginalized literary traditions.
