Isabelle Ragonesi

Isabelle Ragonesi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of International Relations at the University of Malta, within the Faculty of Arts. She holds a doctoral degree from the London School of Economics, where her dissertation focused on The Role of External Players in Democratization in Southern Europe: The Cases of Malta and Cyprus, supervised by Dr. Robert Leonardi.

Her research interests span democratization processes, regional studies of Southern Europe and North Africa, European Union policy analysis, and the dynamics of small states in international relations.
