معرفی
Isabelle Kleiner is a Researcher (DR CNRS) affiliated with the Laboratoire Interuniversitaire des Systèmes Atmosphériques (LISA) at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC). Her research focuses on spectroscopy, exobiology, and astrochemistry, with expertise in molecular dynamics and interstellar chemistry. She specializes in microwave and rotational spectroscopy, investigating molecular structures and interactions of compounds relevant to planetary atmospheres and astrophysical environments.
Key research interests include the study of internal rotations in organic molecules, molecular complexes (e.g., HONO–water), and the application of spectroscopic techniques to detect interstellar molecules. Her work also contributes to databases like HITRAN, advancing radiative transfer models for astrophysical and environmental studies.
Recent studies highlight her exploration of methyl torsional barriers, nitrogen quadrupole coupling effects, and the spectroscopic characterization of pollutants like 4-methyl-2-nitrophenol. Collaborations with international teams have led to discoveries in molecular structure and interstellar chemistry, including the first detection of excited torsional states of methylamine.
LISA serves as her primary research lab, where she contributes to projects on aerosol cycles, organic carbon dynamics, and large-scale pollution studies. Her work bridges fundamental spectroscopy with applications in exobiology and environmental science.
