Beatrice Marticorena

Dr. Beatrice Marticorena is a Director of Research (Directeur de Recherche) at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), with a primary focus on atmospheric sciences and desert aerosol research. She is affiliated with LISA (Laboratoire Interuniversitaire des Systèmes Atmosphériques), a joint research unit between CNRS and Université Paris Est Créteil. Her research spans multiple institutions across France and international collaborations, particularly in West Africa where she has conducted extensive field work on dust emissions and their climatic impacts.

Dr. Marticorena's research interests center on the desert aerosol cycle, large-scale pollution, organic carbon fate, exobiology and astrochemistry, spectroscopy, and oxidative and particulate pollution.
