Isabelle Garron is a Senior Lecturer and HDR-qualified academic in the Department of Economics and Social Sciences at Télécom Paris (Institut polytechnique de Paris). She joined in 2006 after roles at Université Paris 5 and Université d'Evry Val d'Essonne. Her academic background spans literature, art, and semiology, with a PhD in Letters (University Paris 7, 2000) and HDR accreditation (2024).
Research focuses on digital humanities, creative practices, and educational design. Key areas include writing/reading in digital environments, hybrid documents, and fostering creativity through workshops. She co-led projects like Bibli-Lab (2013–2017) with BnF and MO3T (Orange Lab). Recent work explores artists' creative processes and their sociocultural impact.
Teaching includes coordination of 'Pratique et Analyse de la communication écrite' for engineering students and modules in Contemporary Humanities. She also advises on gender equality initiatives at Télécom Paris.
Notable awards include the Prix d’Académie (2017) for co-authoring Un nouveau monde. She is an art therapist and publishes creative works with Éditions Flammarion. Her interdisciplinary affiliations include the Interdisciplinary Institute of Innovation (i3) and RiRRa21 Lab (Montpellier).
