Isabella Pasqualini is an architect (ETHZ 2000) and PhD in Architecture and Cognitive Neuroscience (EPFL 2012). She investigates the relationship between body and space using immersive and interactive multimedia, focusing on multisensory enhancement. Currently, she is a Lecturer at the Master’s program for Neuroscience Applied to Architectural Design (IUAV University of Venice), a Senior Scientist at HSLU’s CC Visual Narrative, and a Lecturer at Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art (HSLU DFK). She has held visiting roles at Tsinghua University, Zürich University of the Arts, and École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles. Her work bridges architecture, neuroscience, and art, with exhibitions at venues like the Venice Biennale and MAXXI Rome.

Publications span peer-reviewed journals (Frontiers in Psychology, Consciousness and Cognition) and edited volumes. She advises on spatial computing, inclusive design, and human-centric innovation.
