Isabella Lazzarini is a Professor of Medieval History at the University of Turin's Department of Historical Studies. She previously held a professorship at the University of Molise. Her research focuses on late medieval European political, social, and cultural history, with a particular emphasis on Italian diplomacy, the evolution of political language in documentary sources, and gender dynamics in early Renaissance Italy. She is currently co-editing a volume on peacemaking for Oxford University Press.
