Isabell Schuster

Dr. Isabell Schuster serves as a Research Assistant in the Department of Special Education within the Department of Education and Psychology at Free University of Berlin since 2020. Her work focuses on developing evidence-based interventions for sexual aggression prevention among adolescents and young adults, with particular emphasis on cross-cultural contexts and university settings.

Her educational background includes a PhD in Psychology from the University of Potsdam (2018), a Diploma in Psychology from the University of Potsdam and Universidad de Chile (2014), and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Culture of the Near East with Turkology focus from Free University Berlin (2015). This interdisciplinary training informs her unique approach to sexual violence research.

Dr. Schuster's research centers on three interconnected domains: predictors and prevention of sexual aggression among adolescents and young adults; intercultural comparisons of sexual violence manifestations; and transition processes in educational and social contexts.
