Isabel Corrales Pinart

Isabel Corrales Pinart is a Researcher at the Department of Animal Biology, Plant Biology and Ecology, Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She holds a Ph.D. from UAB (2001) focusing on maize responses to aluminum toxicity. Her research explores plant responses to environmental stresses, particularly heavy metal toxicity, soil chemistry, and bioremediation strategies.

Research Interests: She investigates plant tolerance mechanisms to aluminum, antimony, and other metals, with applications in crop improvement and environmental remediation. Her work integrates molecular biology, plant physiology, and geochemistry to understand stress responses in plants like buckwheat, clover, and cardoon.
