Anselm Rodrigo Dominguez

Anselm Rodrigo Dominguez is an active researcher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) within the Department of Animal Biology, Plant Biology, and Ecology. He holds the position of Investigador at the Centre for Ecological Research and Forestry Applications (CREAF) since 1998. He earned a Ph.D. in Biology from UAB in 1998 and a degree in Biology (Botany) from the same institution in 1993. Previously, he served as a Professor associat at the Universitat Ramon Llull's School of Social Education from 1999 to 2001.

Research Interests: His work focuses on pollinator ecology, fire ecology, and Mediterranean ecosystem dynamics. Key areas include pollinator responses to pesticides, post-fire plant regeneration, and climate change impacts on insect populations. He also investigates seed dispersal mechanisms and landscape-level effects on pollinator behavior.

Grant Experience: He led the InterPlant project (2001–2004) examining post-fire plant-insect community dynamics funded by Spain's Ministry of Science and Technology.

Labs/Teams: Collaborates extensively with CREAF and international networks studying Mediterranean biodiversity and environmental challenges.
