Isabel Baptista

Isabel Baptista is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Catholic University of Portugal (UCP), and a member of the Research Center for Human Development (CEDH-UCP) and the Ethics Committee for Technology, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CETCH/UCP). She coordinates the Master's Degree in Educational Sciences and directs the journal Página da Educação.

Her research focuses on Educational Ethics, Social Pedagogy, and Philosophy of Hospitality. Recent work includes socio-educational applications in community development and healthcare ethics.

Key projects: PIICIE (Combatting School Failure), Clareiras III Research Seminars, and international collaborations on 21st-century societal care models.

She has co-authored articles on teacher training, social pedagogy in wine production, and transcultural memory, with a focus on pedagogical leadership and ethical frameworks in education.
