Isaac Kohane is the inaugural Chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics and the Marion V. Nelson Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. He is also a Professor of Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
His educational background includes an MD/PhD from Boston University (1987) and post-doctoral work at Boston Children's Hospital, where he practices as a pediatric endocrinologist.
