Iryna Kozlova

Iryna Kozlova is a Lecturer of Educational Practice and Academic Advisor for the PEDAL ESL program at the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. She has over 12 years of teaching experience in Ukraine, Russia, and Mongolia as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instructor. Her career includes roles at Georgia State University, Old Dominion University, Carleton University, and Algonquin College, where she taught applied linguistics and developed online language courses.

Her research focuses on

• online teacher training
• technology integration in language education
• task-based learning strategies
• augmented reality applications in ESL

She pioneered projects like 3D virtual learning environments for language education and received awards for innovative pedagogy, including a 2014 Teaching Achievement Award and an international e-learning honorable mention (2013).
