Iryna Betko

Iryna Betko is a Professor at the Department of Russian Literature and Language within the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Warmia and Mazury, Olsztyn. Her research spans Ukrainian and Russian literature from the 18th to 21st centuries, focusing on archetypal analysis, religious-philosophical themes, and symbolic biographies.

Research Interests include comparative literature studies in Ukrainian-Polish-Russian contexts, Jungian psychological frameworks, and the integration of biblical motifs into literary works. She emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, blending ritual-mythological criticism with modern psychoanalytic methods.

Doctoral Supervision: Currently supervising and promoting doctoral students, with research topics centered on symbolic biography, non-dogmatic spirituality, and archetypal structures in postmodern prose. Funds are available for research projects under her guidance.

Scientific Achievements: 4 publications indexed in WoS/Scopus, 3 Google Scholar citations, and an H-index of 1. She has promoted 2 doctors and oversees ongoing dissertations.
