Iris Richardson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Art within the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts at Rowan University. She holds an MFA in Studio Arts from the Studio Arts College International (SACI) in Florence, Italy, and a BFA from Rowan University.
As a multidisciplinary artist, her creative research spans macro photography, painting, and sculpture. Her work explores visual perception through extreme close-up perspectives and material experimentation, with exhibitions featured internationally in Italy, Germany, and the United States. Richardson's artworks are held in various private and public collections globally.
At Rowan, she teaches foundational art courses including Drawing I, Art Appreciation, Color & Design, and Color Theory. Her pedagogical approach integrates technical skill development with conceptual exploration across media.
