Iris Engelhard is Full Professor of Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University, specializing in experimental psychopathology. She leads innovative research on trauma disorders and anxiety treatments through her Experimental Psychopathology Lab. A Fulbright Scholar and cognitive behavioral therapist, she develops mechanistic understanding of PTSD while advancing EMDR therapy techniques.
Honors include prestigious NWO grants (VENI/VIDI/VICI) and TOP funding. She teaches in clinical psychology programs and serves as Scientific Integrity advisor.
