Professor Iris Duhn leads the Early Years Research Lab in the Faculty of Education at the University of Tasmania. Her research focuses on early childhood curriculum, critical childhood studies, and sustainability education, with particular emphasis on climate change pedagogy. She has extensive experience in research leadership, course development, and mentoring.
Duhn's current work explores climate change education frameworks and place-based pedagogies for young children. She frequently publishes in high-impact international journals and serves on editorial boards including Environmental Education Research and Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood.
