Dr. Irfan Saleem is a Researcher at the School of Management, University of Bradford, specializing in Economics. He previously worked at the UK Office for National Statistics, focusing on labor productivity and methodological developments. His research emphasizes international trade, environmental policy, industrial competitiveness, and greening finance. He led an Asian Development Bank-funded project analyzing the impact of environmental regulations on industrial trade between CAREC and OECD regions. Dr. Saleem also has industry experience in Pakistan and the UK as a research economist and business analyst.
His research interests include sustainable development and the intersection of environmental policies with economic growth. Recent work explores women's political empowerment's role in renewable energy demand in OECD countries. He teaches modules such as Econometrics and Business Economics, blending academic rigor with practical industry insights.
