Ireneusz Domagała

Prof. Dr. Hab. Ireneusz Domagała is a full professor at the University of Arts in Poznań, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He has been employed there since 1979 and currently leads the Theatrical Costume Studio.

His research and artistic practice focus on:

• Theatrical costume and set design
• Graphic arts
• Scenography for theater and film
• Intersections of poetry, literature, and visual arts
• Artistic interpretations of travel and cultural exchange

Awarded the Gold Cross of Merit (2005) and Gloria Artis (2013), he has held over a dozen solo exhibitions in Poland and internationally, including in Mexico City, Cologne, and Toruń, and participated in numerous group exhibitions across Europe.

He has served as a juror for national painting and drawing competitions in Koszalin and the Radom Fashion Show.
