Irene Zografou

Dr. Irene Zografou is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management (specializing in employer branding) from the Department of Marketing and Communication at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), an International MBA from AUEB, and an MSc in Tourism Management from the University of the Aegean.

Her research focuses on strategic HRM, employer branding, organizational performance, and innovation, particularly in SMEs and the hospitality sector. Recent publications explore alternative HRM configurations for hotel success, employer branding-HRM synergies, and organizational culture’s role in workplace bullying and affective commitment.

She has received the Outstanding Reviewer Award (2024) from Employee Relations and actively reviews for journals like Baltic Journal of Management and Employee Relations. She contributes to international conferences (EURAM, GCIHRM, AOM) and serves as Communications Officer for EURAM.
