Ioannis Kokkoris

Ioannis Kokkoris is Professor of Competition Law and Economics at Queen Mary University of London, where he serves as Director of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies. He is also an Ordinary Member of the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal.

His research examines competition enforcement, merger control, and national security considerations in foreign investments. Recent work analyzes regulatory responses to Big Tech acquisitions and the economic implications of the Digital Markets Act. Kokkoris has advised competition authorities globally and frequently comments on antitrust cases involving major technology platforms.
