Dr Ioannis Costas Batlle is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Education at the University of Bath, specializing in qualitative research methodologies. His work focuses on the interplay between non-formal and informal education in youth development, particularly among marginalized populations. He actively supervises doctoral students and leads projects such as Catalysts for Change (2025) and Exploring mentorship together (2025), emphasizing public engagement and interdisciplinary approaches.

- Critical pedagogy and youth sports
