Ioannis Basinas

Dr. Ioannis Basinas is a Research Associate and Lecturer in Occupational Health at the University of Manchester's Division of Population Health, Health Services Research & Primary Care. With over 15 years of expertise in epidemiology, bio-statistics, and exposure science, his research focuses on assessing human exposure to hazardous substances (e.g., bio-aerosols, pesticides, nanomaterials) and their health impacts, particularly in agricultural and occupational settings. He holds a PhD in Medicine from Aarhus University (2011), an MSc in Toxicology from Utrecht University (2007), and a BSc in Agricultural Sciences from TEI Crete (2004).
