Ioana Zelko

Ioana Zelko is an Astrophysics Researcher at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA), University of Toronto. Her research focuses on theoretical modeling of cosmic structures and computational astrophysics. Previously, she was a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, Los Angeles (2021-2022).

She holds a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Harvard University and a physics degree from MIT. Her Romanian origins inform her international perspective on scientific collaboration.
