Ingvild Torsen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Oslo. Her work bridges Heideggerian phenomenology, philosophical aesthetics, and feminist philosophy.

Research interests focus on Heidegger and Kant's aesthetics, modernism as a philosophical-artistic problematic, and feminist engagements with continental philosophy. She regularly teaches courses on continental philosophy, philosophical aesthetics, and feminist philosophy at both MA and BA levels.
