Ingrid Grünwald is a Senior Lecturer and senior coordinator of the Bachelor Graphic Design programme at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK). With expertise in intercultural communication and English language instruction, she supports Graphic Design students in developing their conversational and writing skills. Grünwald also works as a freelance MBO-examiner and contributes to research on dialogue as a method for generating knowledge within the Lectorate Artistic Practice/Politics of Knowledge.
- Education: Studied English Language and Literature at the Free University in Amsterdam, specializing in American Black Literature with a focus on Toni Morrison's Beloved.
- Current Research: Explores dialogue as a research methodology in collaboration with Anke Haarman's Politics of Knowledge group.
- Additional Roles: Co-founded The Big Dialogue event series (2020) and engaged in community projects like De Kids van Amsterdam Oost and Moving Arts Project.
