Inger Marie Dalehefte

Inger Marie Dalehefte is a faculty member at the University of Agder, serving as Head of the Department of Education within the Faculty of Humanities and Education since 2016. She holds a PhD in Psychology (Dr. Phil) from Christian-Albrechts-University, Kiel (2007), preceded by a Diploma in Psychology (2002) and dual vocational training in commerce (1995). Her academic career spans roles as Associate Professor at UiA (2014-2016), Senior Researcher (2007-2014), and PhD Student (2002-2007) at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN), Germany.

Research Interests focus on teacher motivation and learning processes, school development and educational leadership, democratic education, general and subject didactics, and evaluation of educational measures.
