Dr. Inga Weßels is a Principal Investigator at the Center of Allergy & Environment (ZAUM) in Munich since 2023, focusing on the role of trace elements in immune system development and dysfunction. Previously, she led the "Zinc and Inflammation in the Innate Immune System" group at RWTH Aachen University Hospital (2015-2023) and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Florida (2012-2015).
