Inga Hiiesalu is an Associate Professor of Molecular Plant Ecology at the University of Tartu’s Faculty of Science and Technology, within the Institute of Ecology and Earth Sciences. She specializes in plant-fungal interactions, particularly focusing on mycorrhizal fungi across environmental gradients. Her work spans global-scale studies in diverse regions, including Europe, North America, the Himalayas, and Iceland.
