Ines Jentzsch is a Professor and Deputy Head of the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews. She holds a Diplom in Biophysics (1998) and a PhD in Psychology (2001) from Humboldt-University Berlin, alongside a LLCM in Piano Performance (2017). Her research focuses on cognitive control, attention, and performance in humans, particularly in expert populations like musicians, and their implications for aging and psychological illness. She combines behavioral and electrophysiological methods to study action planning, performance monitoring, and Theory of Mind.
