Ellen Fridland

Dr Ellen Fridland is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at King’s College London, Faculty of Arts & Humanities. She holds a PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center (2010) and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Berlin School of Mind and Brain at Humboldt University of Berlin. Her research focuses on empirically-informed philosophy of mind, emphasizing skill-based theories of cognition, moral agency, and personal identity. She explores intersections between philosophical psychology, embodiment, and Buddhist epistemology.
