Ineke Haen Marshall is a Professor of Sociology and Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University’s School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and affiliated with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. She specializes in comparative criminology, minorities and crime, self-report methodology, juvenile delinquency, and criminal careers.
- PhD in Sociology from Bowling Green State University (1977)
Her research focuses on cross-national surveys of juvenile delinquency, and she chairs the Steering Committee of the International Self-Report Study of Delinquency (ISRD), a global collaborative project involving over 50 countries. She also serves on editorial boards of multiple journals and is the inaugural Editor-in-Chief of International Criminology, the official publication of the American Society of Criminology’s Division of International Criminology.
