India Hughes is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Greenwich, affiliated with the School of Law and Criminology under the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She joined in 2024 while completing her PhD at the University of Kent. Her research focuses on socio-legal tensions between state support and intervention in family lives, particularly regarding Section 20 voluntary accommodation agreements in child protection social work.
