Ina Chan is a Lecturer at the Chair of Integrative Didactics of Social Sciences and Social Sciences within the Faculty of Social Sciences at Technische Universität Dortmund. Her work focuses on lesson planning and differentiation in primary school science education, with a strong emphasis on STEM topics.
Education:
- General higher education entrance qualification from Gymnasium an der Schweizer Allee Dortmund (2001)
- Teacher training at the University of Dortmund (2001–2004)
- Legal traineeship at the ZfsL Lüdenscheid (2005–2007)
Research interests center on primary science education, pedagogical strategies, and curriculum design. She has contributed to integrating STEM into primary teaching through her work at KITZ.do, an educational institution specializing in STEM topics.
Current and past roles include being a Deputy teacher at TU Dortmund University since February 2025 and a Primary school teacher in Iserlohn and Dortmund (2007–2025). She also served as a Lecturer at TU Dortmund from Winter Semester 2015/16 to Summer Semester 2024, teaching seminars on lesson planning and diagnosis for individual support.
