Imre Z. Ruzsa is a Research Professor at the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 1989, head of the Department of Number Theory since 1991. He is also part-time faculty at Central European University.

Research Interests: A leading expert in Additive Combinatorics and Number Theory, his work bridges Probabilistic Number Theory and Combinatorics, focusing on sumsets, Sidon sequences, and entropy connections. His Additive Number Theory contributions include structural theorems and linear equation solutions in integer sets.
