Imelda

Imelda is the André Hoffmann Assistant Professor in Environmental and Resource Economics at The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID). She maintains additional affiliations as a Research Affiliate at CEPR and Invited Researcher at JPAL, with an upcoming Visiting Researcher position at CESifo in November 2024.

Her research explores critical intersections between energy systems, environmental sustainability, and socioeconomic factors. Key focus areas include:

• Gender-inclusive environmental policy design
• Health impacts of energy infrastructure
• Crime patterns during power outages
