Iliana Alanis

Dr. Iliana Alanís is a Professor of Early Childhood and Elementary Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), College of Education and Human Development. With a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin (1998) and an M.Ed. in Bilingual Education from The University of Texas-Pan American (1995), she specializes in dual language education, biliteracy development, and culturally sustaining pedagogies.
