She specializes in Political Philosophy and Social Philosophy, with a focus on the history of political thought, particularly the works of Karl Marx, Hannah Arendt, and Étienne Balibar. Her research emphasizes the theory and practices of 'isonomy' (equality in political contexts) and the intersection of political freedom with socio-economic issues. She co-founded the Hannah Arendt Center for Political Studies at the University of Verona and has collaborated with institutions like the Collège international de philosophie de Paris (2014–2017) and participated in a fellowship at the New School for Social Research in 2019.
Her teaching spans Political Philosophy, History of Political Institutions, and Globalization Studies across multiple degree programs. She is actively involved in research projects such as the 'Geophilosophy of the Balkans' (2020–present) and 'Soggetto di diritto e vulnerabilità' (2017–present), addressing legal frameworks and social vulnerabilities. Her publications explore themes like climate change from a critical planetary perspective, migration studies, and the socio-political implications of Arendtian thought.
She holds a PhD in Political Philosophy and Philosophy of Social Sciences and has supervised visiting PhD scholars. Her work bridges critical theory with contemporary political challenges, contributing to debates on citizenship, democracy, and global justice. She is currently collaborating with the University of Cambridge’s Hannah Arendt Consortium on joint research initiatives.
